FIELDERS BASKETBALL CLUB

The Fielders Basketball Club is an up and coming basketball club in the Berwick area which was formed in 2010.  Our club has very quickly grown to many teams, with the recent winter season having 3 Under 8 teams, and 20 teams in both junior boys and girls teams ranging from Under 10's through to Under 18's.   We also had 9 adult teams spread across the Casey, Berwick and Dandenong leagues.

 

Our club originally started playing in the Life Be In It Competition at Kambrya College, but we have now joined the Casey Basketball Association where games are played on Saturday mornings and afternoons. The indoor stadiums where we play allow for year round competition with the Summer season generally commencing at the beginning of Term 4 and the Winter season commencing at the beginning of Term 2.  The club aims to provide opportunities for all players and caters for kids simply looking to have some fun and get fit, right through to players with the desire to improve and compete at a higher level. 

 

We encourage all parents and other family members to participate in coaching, team manager or committee roles and we welcome anyone that is willing to volunteer some of their time to make a positive contribution.

 

Our aim is to keep fees manageable to all families, and we as a not for profit organisation aim to make any additional resources are wisely invested back into the club to guarantee maximum benefit to our players. Our committee, coaches and team managers are always on hand to provide any necessary assistance to players or parents and to ensure that our club continues to grow from strength to strength.
